The Scatha project took approximately 260 hours. The Tribute project took around 100 hours just in research. Additionally Tribute's existing automitve paint was heavily cracked and failing, so several weeks of bodywork was required to remove the paint, fix cracks in the fiberglass body, primer and block sand the entire car. After that the layout, underpainting, lining and clearcoating was very similar to Scatha. But Tribute is a much larger car, and I was using a more complicated compositional technique. I estimate that Tribute took over 1200 hours across a year and a half, from start to finish.
